smartphonesshop.com.au - While we’ve had a field day with leaks and reveals so far, it’s time to shine the spotlight back onto Samsung. While the reception for the Galaxy ZFold3 and Galaxy ZFlip3 5G has so far been stellar, it looks like Samsung still has more up their sleeves, with the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Tab S8 and even potentially another Note Series Device. In the meantime, let’s take a look at the latest galaxy of Samsung leaks awaiting us!
Guardians Of The Galaxy Leaks: Part 2
Guardians of the Galaxy: Sequel 22
As to be expected, we’ll most likely be seeing the Galaxy S22 which would be the most anticipated and least surprising. Codenamed “Rainbow” according to leaker Front Tron, we can expect the Galaxy S22 to include a display that looks more like the Note Series alongside peak brightness unlike any device if prominent leaker Ice Universe is to be believed. It’s also likely we won’t see an option for expandable storage and as for the camera specs, we can expect to see two new 1/3.52-inch Sony sensors plus a 10MP resolution for the Optical Zoom Camera as well as the same resolution for the 3x Optical Zoom Cameras, courtesy of Android Police and Ice Universe. In other words, you can expect an improvement albeit a minor one not too different from what we saw with the iPhone 13.
Tom's Guide have also shared leaked images on what could be the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which certainly harken back to the design of the Galaxy Note20 Ultra. In fact, according to GSMArena the S22 Ultra may very well be the Note22 Ultra and possibly carry that name! With the device tipped to have S-Pen capabilities and even a storage slot as the Note Series model had, we’re certainly not surprised! Whatever the end result is, we do hope Samsung releases another Note Series device as our hearts have already been broken this year with the absence of the Note21.
Fan Service
The S22 isn't the only device eagerly awaited by Samsung's fanbase, as the elusive Galaxy S21 FE is also rumoured to finally have a release date. After many reports speculating on Samsung cancelling the budget S21 Series variant, it seems that the rumour mill has changed directions once again and according to LetsGoDigital, we should be seeing the Galaxy S21 FE sometime in January 2022. LetsGoDigital are also speculating that chip shortages are to blame for the S21 FE being delayed.
LetsGoDigital have also provided purported specs for the Galaxy S21 FE, and it’s certainly looking better than what we expected. The Galaxy S21 FE will supposedly include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 which is the same as what was included with the other devices in the S21 Series. Expect variants which include 6GB and 8GB of RAM alongside a 6.4-inch AMOLED 120Hz screen. Expandable storage will disappointedly not be a part of the equation but at this stage, we’re just happy to see it being released.
Put it on My Tab
The S22 and S21 FE aren’t all that’s rumoured, as the Galaxy Tab S8 Series also looks to be revealed soon! Samsung’s rumoured addition to the Tab Series will reportedly also come in Plus and Ultra variants according to GSMArena. All will reportedly come with 120Hz screens with the standard and Plus versions to come with 8GB of RAM, while the Ultra will come with a monstrous 12GB of RAM and a massive 10,090 mAH battery! It certainly looks to be living up to the Ultra in its name.
What is looking to be the most shocking leak so far, is the fact that leaked renders for The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra show it will actually come with a notch! We’re not kidding, GSMArena have reportedly shown renders which show that the Tab S8 Ultra is looking to copy the dreaded and beloved notch associated with the iPhone. It remains to be seen if the leaked renders are final or if Samsung decides to completely remove it, but either way you could say Samsung are taking it up a notch (pun intended).
While Samsung may be slowing down on releases this year, if the leaks are to be believed next year is certainly going to be very exciting. Many will no doubt be anticipating the reveal of the S22 as well as confirmation if the Note Series will continue. Whatever it is, Samsung hasn’t disappointed us yet, but consider us cautiously optimistic. For everything to do with Samsung leaks and reveals, keep an eye on our Smart Blogs!
